Around the Severn Estuary

28 July – 11 September 2013

A long walk around the Bristol Bay and the Severn Estuary, following the coast from Baggy Point (Devon, England) to Gloucester and returning on the other side till Worm's Head (Wales). The Severn Estuary has the second biggest tidal difference in the world. With spring tide, the water is pushed in one big wave - the "Severn Bore" - up to the river Severn. I am currently writing a story that is inspired by this walk.
