Op twee gedachten (Severn)
I'm writing a fiction story inspired by a long walk around the Bristol Bay and the Severn Estuary, an area with a freakingly high tidal difference. It is an essay exploring the dilemma between landscape and climate, between local and global ecology. At the same time it is also a story about personal dilemmas and doubts, about power and responsibility, office life versus the open air and the beneficial qualities of walking. About the eternal movement of the water - high water, low water - and about a tidal wave running up the river. About the desperation of Aristoteles and about the moon that does not care about our earthly avocations. In Dutch.
