(Partly published in Yang magazine in April 2007)

Oliverio Girondo (1891 to 1967) was a poet of the Argentinian vanguardia. I translated his first book of poetry (Veinte poemas para ser leida en el tranvia) into Dutch (Twintig gedichten voor op de tram). It are all short poems containing expressive descriptions of city scenes in various European and South-American countries.
